Internalized Inadequacy IS NOT Imposter Syndrome

Imposter syndrome assumes the environment is neutral. But for high-achieving Black women, the self-doubt is rarely a distortion. It is a response to environments that extracted their best and returned very little. This is internalized inadequacy, and it requires a different treatment.
